The benefits of members of Georgian Medical Women’s Association - (GMWA)

      Georgian Medical Women’s Association is the affiliated member of Medical Women’s International Association- www. mwia. net We are proud that in 2022, a former member of the Parliament of Georgia Dr. Mariam Jashi, was elected at the post of Secretary General of MWIA. GMWA members will have regular meetings at least once a quarter.

  At the meetings, GMWA members will have the opportunity to exchange information about their activities, medical news, planned events, ideas and their wishes. 

 GMWA will help the regional branches in their activities. 

    GMWA held and will hold the conferences accredited within the framework of continuing medical education, with the awarding of appropriate credit points for doctors. 

   The members of GMWA will have the opportunity to conduct accredited trainings within the framework of continuing medical education and make the relevant reports. 

 For GMWA members, participation in accredited conferences within the framework of the continuing medical education will be on preferential terms.  

   GMWA systematically organizes scientific practical conferences both in Tbilisi and in different regions of Georgia. In addition to attending the mentioned conferences, GMWA members will be given priority to give reports on various issues. 

  GMWA members will have the opportunity to post information about their activities and medical news on the GMWA website, both in Georgian and English.   

  GMWA members automatically become members of Medical Women’s International Association- MWIA, therefore - Once a quarter, they will receive information about the events- conferences and congresses conducted and planned by MWIA and the affiliated National Associations, as well as about meetings, of Special Interest Groups.

  Once a quarter, they will receive information about the events conducted and planned by the International Association of Women Doctors and its national associations, about meetings, conferences and congresses of special interest groups. 

  GMWA members will be able to participate online in some events of the International Association of Women Doctors. 

  If they wish, they will have the opportunity to participate in congresses and conferences of the International Association of Women Doctors with discounted registration prices.  

     GMWA plans to issue a quarterly electronic magazine, which will contain information about various medical news. The magazine will be sent to GMWA members by e-mail. In the electronic magazine, will be possible to place the desired information for GMWA members. 

 GMWA systematically held and will continue to hold exhibitions of artistic doctors and poetry evenings. GMWA members will have the opportunity to participate in the organization of this interesting event, to promote the works of artistic doctors. GMWA planes to hold a similar event in the regions as well. 

 In some cases, the mentioned evenings may be charitable – so, in some cases, exhibitions may be charitable and part of the proceeds will benefit those who need it.

  Finally- the main principles of the relationship between MWA members are collegiality, mutual respect and support.
