International cooperation

12 members of GMWA took part in the work of the XXVI Congress of the International Association of Women Doctors. Zhvania was elected as the vice-president of Central Europe and member of the board of the International Association of Women Doctors. Tokyo August 2004

5 members of GMWA participated in the Mushoaba of the 28th Scientific Congress of the German Association of Women Doctors. Berlin. September 2005

15 members of GMWA attended the Southern European Regional Congress of the International Association of Women Doctors in St. in Rome.. in November 2007.

GMWA President N. Zhvania represented the International Association of Women Doctors at the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe 58 session. Tbilisi, September 2008

by GMWA in 2006 The Central European Regional Congress of the International Association of Women Doctors "A woman is always young and healthy" was held in Tbilisi.
Members of the board of the International Association of Women Doctors, president, former and future president were distributed in the work of the congress; general secretary; Regional Vice-Presidents, members of the German and Swedish Associations of Women Doctors. Together with Georgian doctors, 17 guests from 9 countries of the world attended it.

In 2013 at Seoul International Congresses of MWIA, the National Coordinator of MWIA Khatuna Kaladze was elected at the post of Vice President of Central European Regional Congress of MWIA and was reelected at this post in 2016 at the Vienna International Congress of MWIA .

In 2016, 12 doctors from Georgia participated in International Congress of MWIA in Moscow. N Zhvania and K. Kaladze held the presentations on Congress.
