Rome, Tbilisi and International Cooperation
Fifteen members of the Section attended the Southern European Regional Congress of the International Association of Women Doctors in Rome in November 2007.
The Section’s President, N. Zhvania, represented the International Association of Women Doctors at the 58th Session of the WHO Regional Office for Europe. Tbilisi, September 2008.
The Section hosted the Board Meeting of the International Association of Women Doctors in Tbilisi on May 18–19, 2006.

Tbilisi, 2006 — Central European Regional CongressIn 2006, the Section organized the Central European Regional Congress of the International Association of Women Doctors in Tbilisi — “A Woman Is Always Young and Healthy.” Participants included members of the Board of the International Association of Women Doctors, the President, former and future Presidents, the Secretary General, Regional Vice-Presidents, and members of the German and Swedish Associations of Women Doctors. Together with Georgian doctors, the event was attended by 17 guests from 9 countries around the world. |
Seoul, Vienna and Moscow — 2013–2016
At the MWIA International Congress in Seoul in 2013, the Section’s National Coordinator, Khatuna Kaladze, was elected Vice-President for Central Europe of the International Association of Women Doctors. She was re-elected to the same position at the Vienna International Congress in 2016.
In 2016, 12 doctors participated in the International Congress of Women Doctors in Moscow. At the congress, N. Zhvania and K. Kaladze delivered presentations.
